R.I.P. Sean Malone

 

I am sad to report that Sean Malone has died.  For those who don't know, he was the bassist in the progressive rock/metal band Cynic.  He primarily played fretless bass guitar and Chapman stick.  Additionally, he also played piano, keyboards and guitar.  He was a talented multi-instrumentalist and he will be missed.  Earlier this year, Sean Reinert died.  I can't believe both of these progressive rock/metal musicians died in the same year.
