The final day of 2020

2020 was a turbulent year for most.  It was not a happy new year at all.  It did start off as a happy new year and then nose dived into an awful year.  Surprisingly, it was a decent year for me!  If you talk about 2020 in general, it was a dismal year.  What about the positive aspects of 2020?  I don't want discuss the negative aspects at all.  That's best documented elsewhere.  I want touch on the positive aspects of 2020.

What were the good things that happened in 2020?  Well, there were some good music albums this year.  You can say that.  The L.A. Lakers became NBA champions this year.  People met new friends online and they did achieve some personal accomplishments.  People who probably always wanted to work at home finally got to work at home this year due to the pandemic.  I don't know what else... wow!  2020 did truly suck!

I have to say it... thankfully today is the final day of 2020!  I hope 2021 is much more prosperous and things will get better.  2020 was an odd year and it will go down in history as an odd year & more!

Five years since Lemmy died

Well it has been five years since Lemmy Kilmister died and you might have expected me to write some depressing stuff.  No!  You're wrong!  Since it has been five years since he passed away, I will post my top five favorite songs with Lemmy.

5. The Rockin' Vickers - Dandy

Here's a song from Lemmy's early days as a musician.  He played guitar for The Rockin' Vickers.  He was a damn good guitarist.  I consider this song to be a gem of the 1960's.  He rocks on this song.  Check it out!  EDIT: I originally had I Go Ape and then found out Lemmy is not on that song.  I Go Ape is awesome, but he wasn't in The Rockin' Vickers at the time that song was recorded & released.

4. Motörhead - Ace of Spades

I know, I know, you must be thinking why would I have this at number 4?  Well it is one of his most famous songs, yet I feel it deserves to be in my top 5.  It's got fantastic bass work and Lemmy sounds absolutely awesome on vocals.  It's a great song period.  Don't know this one?  You must have been living under a rock for years or you simply have bad taste in music.  Or you most likely suck!  And ya probably do!  Whatever!  Listen to it now if you haven't and I won't think you suck.  :)

3. Motörhead - R.A.M.O.N.E.S.

Fast, wild and fun!  It's about the legendary band the Ramones.  Ramones even covered this one.  Excellent stuff!  Listen to this if you haven't!  This song almost didn't make it to my top 5 Lemmy songs.   I almost went with Jack the Ripper or Going to Brazil!

2.  Hawkwind - Motorhead

I'll be honest here, this is 10 times better than the one by Motörhead.  Oh I like the one by Motörhead, it doesn't suck by any means.  This one has better vocals and bass by Lemmy.  It's a wee bit underrated nowadays.  I'm sure people still listen to this version.

1. Motörhead - Built for Speed

It was a bit difficult for me to choose number one.  Other candidates were Motörhead - Jack the Ripper, Motörhead - Stone Dead Forever, Motörhead - Too Late Too Late, Motörhead - Victory and surprisingly Hawkwind - Silver Machine!  Well this is it, Motörhead - Built for Speed.  A bit of a deep track by Motörhead.  This is one amazing heavy metal song!  I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you never listened to this one.  I'll cut ya some slack with this one!  However, no excuse for you not knowing Motörhead - Ace of Spades!  I mean, c'mon!

There you have it!  My top 5 songs by Lemmy!  What an awesome dude and his music will live on forever!   Rock on, Lemmy!

Today Lemmy would have been 75 years old

Today Lemmy Kilmister would have been 75 years old.  Happy birthday God!  People still listen to your music to this day.  It's unfortunate that he died 4 days after his 70th birthday.  I remember my partner from the late 2000's saying Lemmy was going to be rocking in his 70's.  We thought he would live a long time.  If Lemmy never got ultra sick, he would be still alive today.

Update: I changed layout's colors

Not a major update at all, I'll still discuss the stuff I normally discuss on here.  I experimented with the colors.  I'm now 100% satisfied with the way it is now.  I actually like the colors here more than colors I have on my Tumblr!  I was gonna try to make this blog look more like my Tumblr.  However, I have something significantly better going on here.

Two thrash metal bands from Costa Rica

Today's blog entry is about a couple of thrash metal bands from Costa Rica.  Usually, I find most metal bands from Latin American countries to be terrible (especially metal bands from Chile, Honduras and Mexico).  I have found out that Costa Rica has a good thrash metal scene.  Today I'll shed some light on two thrash bands from Costa Rica, Epidemik and Heavy Chains.

Not too much is know about this thrash metal band who hail from Cortago, Costa Rica.  They only have one EP which is called Murder by Command.  It's pretty solid, if you don't mind lousy sound production.  I think they have great potential.  I hope they release more music.  For the EP and hopefully more albums, go to their Bandcamp.

Next we have Heavy Chains.  Heavy Chains is more established than the band above.  They are from Heredia.  They are slightly better as well and have professionally produced releases.  They have the EP Deathstalker and full-length album Eye Commander.  I highly recommend this band.  For their music, check out their Bandcamp.

Check those two bands out now!  I'll probably have blog posts about more metal bands from other countries in the near future.  My next blogs are going to be about 2020 and my thoughts on 2021.  That's if I remember... we'll see!

R.I.P. Tommy "Tiny" Lister

Tommy "Tiny" Lister (aka Deebo) has died at the age of 62.  I'm devastated by this one.  He was an awesome actor.  He was also a wrestler in the WWE over 30 years ago.  I will miss him.  My condolences to his family, friends and everyone else affected.  For more info, click here.

R.I.P. Sean Malone

I am sad to report that Sean Malone has died.  For those who don't know, he was the bassist in the progressive rock/metal band Cynic.  He primarily played fretless bass guitar and Chapman stick.  Additionally, he also played piano, keyboards and guitar.  He was a talented multi-instrumentalist and he will be missed.  Earlier this year, Sean Reinert died.  I can't believe both of these progressive rock/metal musicians died in the same year. My condolences to Sean Malone's family, friends and everyone else affected by his death.  For more on his death, click here.

Review: Animaniacs (2020)

Animaniacs (2020) is a reboot of the original Animaniacs from the 1990's.  I grew up watching the original run of the show.  It was one of my favorite animated shows back then.  I believe I didn't miss one episode if I'm not mistaken!  I loved it that much growing up.  Now it's back for 2 seasons.  It is on Hulu and I highly recommend all fans to get Hulu (it's cheaper than Netflix) in order to watch it.  So far it's the Warner brothers (and the Warner sister Dot) and Pinky & the Brain that are back.  Will they have any other characters (like Chicken Boo, Slappy Squirrel, Rita, etc.) come back?  I don't know.  Maybe they will in the second season.

So far I only watched one episode.  What are my thoughts?  I thought it was extremely good.  They slightly redesigned things and the color is different from the original run of the show.  There's a few minor details they changed for the 2020 version.  You'll need to watch it in order to see.  I've also noticed the voice actors' voices have aged a bit.  You can tell with Rob Paulsen, his Yakko voice has aged.  However, his Pinky voice has not changed at all.  Dot's voice sounds the same from the original run.  Wakko sounds very aged.   Brain's voice sounds very aged as well.  Is that a bad thing?  No, of course not.  I expected them to sound aged.

It's an excellent reboot.  I highly recommend it.  It will appeal to old fans and new fans.  I was pleasantly surprised.  I was happy that it did recapture some of the magic of the original run.  That was awesome.  Watch the official trailer above and I hope it'll encourage to you watch it!  You will not be disappointed!  Unless you're my friend Brian, he couldn't get through the first episode!  Ah well!

Happy Halloween and R.I.P. Sean Connery

Happy Halloween!  It may come as a surprise to many of you, but Halloween is not one of my favorite holidays.  That's strange, right?  I like death metal and stuff like that, but Halloween isn't one of my favorite holidays.  I know a few of my friends absolutely love this holiday.  To me, it's a cool holiday and nothing more.  That's pretty much it.  I have nothing against it at all.   It wasn't even my favorite holiday growing up!  So I don't have any Halloween stories or anything for you.  I remember trick or treating growing up, but nothing really special or memorable comes to mind.  I sadly don't remember any stories from back then.  In case if I do remember stories, I'll edit this and include them or I'll tell them next year.

Unfortunately, a death occurred today.  Sean Connery died, he was 90 years old.  Well at least he lived a full life.  You can read about it here for more on his death.

Not sure what else to write here.  That's it for this blog entry.  Happy Halloween!  Stay safe out there and have an excellent day/night!

The Los Angeles Lakers win the 2020 NBA Championship!

Congrats to the Los Angeles Lakers for winning the 2020 NBA championship!  They did this for Kobe Bryant and GiGi!  The Lakers have won their 17th NBA championship, which means they are tied with the Boston Celtics for most NBA championships!  They also haven't won one since 2010, it took them 10 years to win another!  Way to go!  Lebron James won his 4th championship and I hope he goes on to win more!  He earned it, he is an incredible basketball player!

Well this is the best news for 2020.  2020 has been a drag and then this happens!  My favorite NBA team wins!  Wherever you are Black Mamba, I'm sure you're proud of them!  I believe if Kobe didn't pass away this year, the Lakers still would have won it due to them being an excellent team with Lebron!  I'm so happy about this!  It has been an excellent year for us fans of the Lakers!  I hope they win their 18th NBA championship next season and they will no longer be tied with the Celtics with most NBA championships!  We shall see what happens with the next season!

Happy National Coming Out Day!

Happy National Coming Out Day!  I mentioned in an earlier blog entry that I'd tell my story of coming out.  For those of you who know me, you know for a fact that I'm gay.  This is not news at all to you.  Most of you probably don't know the story of how I came out.

The story goes back to about August 2007.  I started to notice that I had a sexual attraction to the same sex.  In a way, I came out to myself at that point in time and nobody else knew until a few months later.  On March 23, 2008, I came out to my first partner (who I'm sadly no longer with today).  We were both ecstatic that day.  He was the only one I came out to and that was the day we decided to become partners.

October 5th, 2008 was the day I came out to everyone.  It was an easy decision and I had no real issues without it.  However, I remember pacing around my basement thinking about it and I was a bit nervous about it.  I remember being on the phone with my partner and I was telling him about myself coming out.  I think I wanted advice from him, because I know he came out around late October or early November of 2006.  The first person I came out to was my mom.  She was watching TV in the family room.  At first, she didn't believe me at all.  She actually refused to believe I was gay for a few years, she didn't accept me being gay until around 2014 or so.  I was disappointed by her reaction and my partner was disappointed as well.  At least nowadays, my mom accepts the fact that I'm gay.  Sometimes she thinks I'm bisexual or even pansexual, but I remind her that I'm gay.  I'm most comfortable with the gay label.

When I was going for group therapy (I wasn't there due to my homosexuality, it was for another reason) in 2008, I came out to the group and it occurred one day in October 2008.  It felt good coming out to them and they had no problem with it at all.  For most people I came across in my life, they do not have a problem with me being gay.  There were a 2-3 people online that did have a problem with my homosexuality, but I will not get into that.

I hope you all having a good National Coming Out Day!  For those struggling with coming out, you don't have to do it right away.  Take all the time you need and I'm sure things will turn out fine for you in the long run.  For me coming out was not a real difficult matter.

R.I.P. Eddie Van Halen

Rest in peace, Edward Lodewijk Van Halen.  I cannot believe he died today.  As a guitarist myself, he was a bit of an influence.  He got me more into tapping (a guitar technique he was famous for and you can see him doing it in the picture I provide).  I remember I learned how to play a couple of Van Halen songs during my first years of playing guitar.

I was around 5 or 6 years old when I first heard Eddie Van Halen, he did a guitar solo on "Beat It" and it totally blew me away the first time I gave it a good listen.  I was in my room back in Pomona, NY.  From that point on, I wanted to know what that was.  I was a very young child at the time and I couldn't really comprehend it that well.  Click here for an article on EVH's guitar solo on that song.  It was one of the most amazing things I ever listened to in my life at that point in time.  I believe it got me hard rock and heavy metal.  I am sure that was the song that was responsible for me loving heavy music.

2020 has been a rough & tough year.  This 2020 death has affected me, just like Kobe Bryant's earlier this year.  I hope the 2020's get better... this year has been a total dumpster fire.  I can't believe this year has been so horrible.  We're not even done with the year yet and EVH dies today.  :(  My condolences to the Van Halen family, friends, fans and anybody else.

COVID-19 is not a hoax you conspiracy theory idiots!

I would have never thought of living through a pandemic in my lifetime.  This one is a real bad one.  I am no conspiracy theory nut, so I fully support that this COVID-19 thing is 100% real.  I cannot believe people are believing this to be a hoax.  Go tell Will Carroll that it's a hoax... he had it!  So shut the fuck up!  You are a dumb ass if you believe it is fake.  You are no better than the flat earthers.  They are wrong and so are you!

Ya know, I had no idea what to write down for this blog.  So... umm maybe I'll write something better.  Happy September!  This is my favorite month of the year.  I hope you all have a great day/night!

R.I.P. Ali Zabirov

Yes, another death to report and this one hurts.  It hurts since I'm gay and this could have been myself.  An openly gay TikTok user named Ali Zabirov was murdered.  This homophobia needs to stop.  I absolutely hate homophobia.  This is appalling.  He was probably also killed for the fact that he was a TikTok star.  There's a lot of hatred towards that platform and fascist Donald Trump is looking to ban it in the U.S.  I would also imagine he was killed by people who were jealous of him too.  I read that this guy is from Russia and Russia is ultra homophobic.  My best bet is that Zabirov was killed for being a gay person.

R.I.P. Ali Zabirov.  I didn't know you, but rest in power.  I am done with people in this world.  When will this shit stop?  For more on this, click here.

One year since I decided to revive this blog!

It has been a year since I decided to revive this blog.  I never knew I'd revive this blog.  I originally intended to end it and never get back to it.  I like expressing myself and letting the world know how I feel.  This blog is having a pretty good run so far.  I remember being at home in New York while writing that first blog entry for 2019.  I know this blog is not going to gain any sort of traction or become big.  I just write it for the fun of it and maybe some people may read it.

I have no idea what else to write down.  I'll continue to write.  I have no plans to discontinue this blog.  If I do want to discontinue it, I'll let you know.  For now, no.  I don't think so.

Hope you're enjoying summer

Whoa it has been a while since I last wrote something!  Geez!  This is going to be a somewhat brief blog entry.   I hope y'all are having a good summer so far.  My summer has been good so far.  It's not one of the best ones, but I'm hanging in there.  I'm currently at my beach house at the Jersey Shore.  The cool thing is that I live only a few minutes away from it nowadays.  I'm fortunate to be living down here now.  It's much safer than back up in New York.  I'd move back to NY in a heartbeat, but right now with COVID-19 still being a thing... I'd rather not.  I moved out of NY at the right time and I'm grateful for that.  New Jersey is alright, but I think NY is way better.  I'll always find it better.  I'll always call NY my home.

That's it for this blog entry.   Remember to stay safe out there and all of that during these uncertain times.  I know I am staying safe.

SpongeBob SquarePants is not gay!

First of all, I'm a homosexual.  In case I'm offending LBGTQIA+ people, I'm on your side!  Second of all, 2020 is a fucked up year.  OK, that's out of the way.  I'm 100% sure that SpongeBob SquarePants is not homosexual/gay.  Why?  The creator Stephen Hillenburg (R.I.P.) has stated that he is asexual.  This is basically the same stuff with Bert and Ernie being gay.  They're simply not gay.  They're puppets.  SpongeBob is a cartoon sponge.  He is not gay whatsoever.  Nickelodeon is only appeasing to the LGBTQIA+ crowd and doing it for the money.

That image above sums it up perfectly.  Yeah, Stephen Hillenburg would not approve of this at all.  SpongeBob as a gay character is not canon.  Do not treat it as canon.  If I have offended any of my fellow gay dudes, good!  I have nothing else to say about this.

2020 is worse than 2016

I'm going to rant here.  I don't usually like ranting in my blog entries.  This needs to be jotted down.  I have to get this off my chest.  2020 is worse than 2016.  It has been a fucked year.  COVID-19, the death of George Floyd, the protests, etc.  BTW, I will not touch on George Floyd and the protests about it too much.  That's best documented on other blogs and news publications.  I will say that it was major injustice and it shouldn't have happened.

IMO, 2020 is much worse than 2016.  2016 was the year of death and the year Tronald Dump got elected.  I was thinking that 2020 is 2016 part 2.  Well I change my mind on that.  2020 is in a league of its own and it has proven to be a real shit show.  It's more than just another year of death, it's more than that.

It seems like 2020 has been one big huge fire that cannot be extinguished.  So far, it hasn't been extinguished one bit.  I don't know if I got one positive thing to say about 2020.  Nice weather?  I dunno... even the weather has not been that great this year.  Ah yes.  Music.  As a big music fan, 2020 has had excellent music.  Particularly, there's been excellent metal music.  My only non-complaint about 2020.  It sucks I can't really hang out with friends and I moved far away from them.  I was going to make new friends this year in southern NJ, well now that plan was ruined due to COVID-19.

I will say that hopefully 2020 will get better. Let's hope it does!  I know there will new music this year and I'll enjoy that!  The thing that gets to me the most about 2020 is that 2020 was actually starting off to be a good year starting in January.  Then it goes all downhill from there.  Every time someone thinks it can't get any worse... it amazingly does get worse!  I hope it doesn't get worse.  One thing that we can all agree on is that 2020 has been a terrible year.  Stay safe out there and have a good day/night!

Review: Rollerball is a fantastic NES game!

Rollerball is a game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.  My best friend (at the time) introduced me to this game sometime in the late 1990's or early 2000's.  Interestingly, I found that this game was first released for the MSX in 1984.   I'm not familiar with the MSX at all.  I was quite impressed by this game when I played it at my old best friend's house and it influenced me to get the rom at some point.  Early in 2020, I actually bought a physical copy of the game off eBay.  I got a great deal on it.  The game has no real objective to it.  The objective is to score as many points as possible.  That's pretty much it.  No quests, no bosses, none of that stuff found in Rollerball.  The premise of this game is quite simple.  This game is not talked about too much and I don't think it ends up on top lists of games for the NES.

This game was released in 1988 by HAL Laboratories, the same publisher that brought you The Adventures of Lolo and Kirby.  It seems like this game has been lost in the sands of time and it's a bit forgotten.  I certainly haven't forgotten this game!  There are two modes in this.  The first mode is Skyscraper.  In Skyscraper mode, 1-4 players can play.  It plays like a pinball machine you'd find at an arcade except it's emulated.  There's four levels on the emulated pinball machine.  On the highest level, you can rack up a lot of points.  The goal is to get up there as much as possible to rack up big points.  I have provided a video above to show you what the game is like.  No, that's not myself playing the game.  It was played by whoever from the World of Longplays YouTube channel.

The second mode is Match Play.  It is a 2 player mode where you and a 2nd player play at the same time.  Whoever scores the most points win.  The first player has an elephant and the second player has a donkey.  This is in the American version of the game.  Wait a second... so it's basically Republican vs. Democrat!  What was HAL thinking?!  Not a good idea whatsoever.  The Japanese version had a giraffe.  They should have kept the giraffe in!  So if you're a Republican, you're most likely going to be the first player.  Obvious if you're a Democrat, you'd wanna be the 2nd player.  I'm more of an independentt, so it doesn't matter which side I choose if you face me in Match Play.

My only complaint about Rollerball is that you can't move the emulated pinball machine.  There are times where it would be quite helpful.  Besides that minor complaint, it's a fun game and one of the best games for the NES.  It is truly a hidden gem and it's too bad that it doesn't get that much praise.

Solar Opposites

Today's blog is about an upcoming animated series called Solar Opposites.  It was created by Justin Roiland.  You may know him as one of the co-creators of the hit animated series Rick and MortySolar Opposites is going to be on Hulu.  I'm going to share my thoughts on this upcoming animated series.

I watched a trailer of it on Facebook and I thought it was pretty good.  The show definitely has potential.  It's has a Rick and Morty vibe to it and that's no surprise since Justin Roiland created this animated series.  Eight episodes have been made so far.  The first episode will be available on Hulu on May 8.  It's basically about aliens from a better world who come to live in Earth and they take refuge in middle America.  They decide whether it's cool or not.

If you are unaware of Solar Opposites, here's a trailer of it.  Watch it!  Sadly, I don't have Hulu anymore.  Whenever I do get the opportunity somehow to watch it, I will watch it!  I like Justin Roiland and his animation.  I know it won't disappoint.

Oh and don't forget to watch the sixth episode of the fourth season of Rick and Morty tonight!  Click here for info on it!  Honestly, I've only watched the first episode of season four so far.  I'll have to catch up by watching the others I missed, then I'll watch the sixth episode and other episodes!

Who expected 2020 to be so bad?

2020 is what 2012 should have been and 2012 would have loved it.  Right?  LOL!  Yeah, we got COVID-19 going on right now.  People are panicking and people are buying up toilet paper like crazy.  As "The Kid From Brooklyn" Michael Caracciolo would have said, "the whole world's coming to an end!"  It seems to be that way and I agree with Big Mike to a certain extent.  I hope things get better for 2020.  I try to make this blog to be as positive & optimistic as possible.  If you've read my obituaries and stuff, eh not that positive & optimistic.  I have nothing else to say on this matter.  Here's 3 good sources for this COVID-19 mess:

That's it.  I'm gonna take a break from this blog.  I'll continue writing in May.  If I feel like writing something else in April, I'll write something here for sure.

Earth is not flat

Today is a blog that will be focused on flat earth and the absurdity of flat earthers.  All of us know that the earth is not flat.  This has been proven well before I was born, before my parents were born and so forth.  It was proven over a thousand years.  I don't care if I'm going to offend you flat earth people.  You are 1000% wrong.  Are these people serious?  Read this and find out.  It is unbelievable that you have these people who believe the earth is flat and they believe it is even a proven fact that the earth is flat.  It isn't!  It is equivalent to saying that 2+2=3.

They think that they were lied to in school about the shape of the earth.  Give me a break!  There's seven ways to prove the earth is round.  I know in school they did not lie to us about math.  Why in the world would they lie in science class about earth's shape?  Seriously people.  I know this blog barely gets any traffic.  I was happy that one of my blogs actually got a comment and I was happy.  Now if I get comments from you so-called flat earthers, go ahead and I don't care if I rustled your jimmies.

I've noticed that in the 2010's and 2020's, people are being more vocal nowadays on certain things.  That's why you got these flat earth people who are being vocal on their ridiculous belief.  The shape of earth is not supposed to be debated.  It does not require a debate whatsoever.  You flat earthers are no better than the Illuminati conspiracy theorists and birds-are-not-real conspiracy theorists (yes, there are people who actually believe that birds are not real... I might write a blog about that one day)!  C'mon now!

Breaking News: R.I.P. Kirk Douglas

Drew Monson (mytoecold)

I did mention that I'd get to writing a blog entry about Drew Monson and I did!  Drew Monson is a YouTuber who is somewhat famous.  He claims he's not famous anymore.  I provide a video below where he goes on about saying he's not famous anymore.  Drew Monson and Shane Dawson have some things in common.  Not only do they have the same amount of syllables in their names and have "son" in their surnames, they are real good friends.  They have appeared in videos together.  Drew has been criticized as a Shane copycat.  He is not a copycat of Shane to me.  Watch Drew's earliest videos and watch Shane's earliest videos, they're quite different.  Their content is somewhat similar.  Now why am I writing about Drew?  He's a somewhat interesting guy to me.  It took him several years to get to over one million subscribers.  I'm wondering why he didn't have a million sooner.  Above is his latest video.

It's funny he says he's going to be famous and he already was.  This video is from four years.  Next we have a video of him where he say he's not famous anymore.  This guy is one humorous person.

This vid is from two weeks ago.  LOL!  Well to me he's still famous.  I don't think he'll ever reach the amount of fame Shane has gotten, but Drew was a bit close to reaching that fame.

One thing that baffles me a bit is that he actually managed to survive the purge of younger YouTubers (refer to my blog about hejhog for more on that) in his early days on Youtube.  Why?  Look at him, he could easily pass for 13.  Plus no one ever reported him back then.  He didn't reveal his age back then too.  That's another thing that helped him make videos.  I actually thought he was about 14 when I came across him in 2007.  Now that I'm older and my perception on peoples' ages is a lot better, he clearly looks well under 13 in the video above.

According to his page on YouTube Fandom page, he was born in 1995.  Technically, he was not allowed to have his own channel on YouTube when he signed up late in 2006.   This blog would have been titled "Whatever happened to mytoecold?" if his channel got terminated.  I'm glad his channel didn't get terminated.  Perhaps his channel was supervised by a parent or guardian.  Who knows!  I doubt it.  I guess people liked him a lot and they had the heart not to report him for being an underage YouTube user.

Well I'm happy for Drew Monson.  He is a successful personality on YouTube and he has over a million subscribers.  He still has his legacy YouTube name, which is "mytoecold" and the video is about his username.  When I came across him in 2007, I thought the name stood out.  I never understood the appeal of videos him and Shane make, but they're quite good.  I thought of making videos like them.  Then I decided not to, I could get caught up in drama and stuff like that.

There's my blog about this YouTuber!  I'm not sure if I'll be writing any more blogs about YouTubers.  They're best documented elsewhere.  I'd say the best source for that is this YouTube Fandom site.

Happy Palindrome Day!

A day like today will not happen in 101 years.  That will be 12/12/2121.  Will we make it that far?  We'll see.  I don't think so.  Thankfully I'm not writing something that's full of doom & gloom.  January 2020 was a turbulent month.  I am hoping the rest of 2020 is more positive.  A friend of mine dubbed this year as "2016 2.0."  Remember how I said 2016 was the year of death?  It just may turn out that 2020 is another 2016.  For more on what this day is all about, I suggest you click here.

R.I.P. Reed Mullin

Reed Mullin, drummer of Corrosion of Conformity (aka C.O.C.) has died at the age of 53.  The third drummer to die in January 2020.  Geez, January in 2020 has not been great to drummers.  It seems like my blog has turned into an obituary blog.  It's not an obituary blog.  I don't intend it to be, I'm pointing these deaths out since they are noteworthy and/or these deaths have affected me.  I'm sure others might like to read how I feel about these peoples' deaths.  For three consecutive days, I have reported deaths.  For more on his death, click here.

R.I.P. Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant

I am sad to report not one death, but two deaths.  I am absolutely saddened by their deaths.  They were involved in a helicopter crash with other people.  We have lost incredible people this month.  I am mostly devastated by this one the most.  Kobe Bryant is one of my favorite athletes of all-time.  Him and Shaq were the reason why I became a fan of the LA Lakers.  This makes no sense to me.  I'm with Lebron James on this one, it doesn't make sense whatsoever.   Gianna Bryant died with her father Kobe.

When I first came across an article about his passing.  I was hoping it was not true.  I was hoping it was a major hoax.  Unfortunately, that was not the case.  My condolences goes out to the Bryant family and to all affected by this.  For a better source, click here.

R.I.P. Sean Reinert

Sean Reinert has died at the age of 48.  You may read it more here if you want.  I am shocked and saddened by this.  It's a highly unexpected death.  Interestingly, I share a birthday with him.  We have lost two prog rock/metal drummers this month.  For those who don't know, he was the drummer of progressive death metal/rock band Cynic and he was on Death's Human album.

You will be missed by many.  My condolences to family, friends, fans and anyone else affected by this.

R.I.P. Neil Peart

Neil Peart died on January 7, but his death was reported today.  He died of brain cancer at the age of 67.  He is a highly influential drummer in the world of rock and metal.  Interestingly, he shared a birthday with my dad (September 12).  Peart was 8 years younger than my dad.  For a better news story on this, click here.

Expect more posts this year

I will posting more than ever before in the year 2020.  I started this blog circa 2008 and I never really went that far with it.  I was going to quit this for good and then decided to revive it in 2019.  I will be posting reviews, rants, thoughts, etc.  I doubt I'm going to post everyday.  It would be too time consuming and I'm not that into keeping up with a blog.  I'm sure there are people who write everyday in their blogs.  I'm most likely not going to do that.  I'm sure they do it for money.  I really don't have any interest in monetizing with my blog.  I may consider it.  For now, no.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all reading this.  I hope 2020 for you will be an awesome year.  I have an extremely optimistic and positive outlook for 2020 and the rest of the 2020's.  Personally, I'm happy that 2019 and the 2010's are over.  The 2020's are promising and I know this decade will be better than the previous decade.  I hope it is better for you.  I know many people were unhappy with the previous decade.  I was unhappy to a certain extent, but there were some awesome moments.

That's it for this blog entry.  I have nothing more to say.  I know I will be keeping up with this blog through the years.  I'm glad I started posting again.  I wish you all a happy and prosperous 2020!
